Advantages of a Wall Wine Rack
A wall mount wine rack is the answer to the need to store your wine when you don't have a lot of space. You can keep your room looking tidy, and keep your wine in excellent shape at the same time. Since most wall mounted wine racks are the hanging style, you won't even need to sacrifice floor space to effectively store your wine. Of course, you should be careful to choose the right place to hang the wine rack. Warm places and those in direct sunlight, or areas where strong smells are common, are a bad place to keep wine. A cool, dark place, with a reasonably high humidity, is a better choice. While not everyone will be able to emulate the ideal fifty-five degree, dark, moist conditions of the dedicated wine cellar, people in small spaces can still do their best to keep their wine in good shape. If you do happen to be lucky enough to have a cellar that can be used for wine storage, wall wine racks are still a great choice. You can mount them in the basement without taking up space in the floor that can be used for the storage of other items. Just be sure that your wine racks are secure, and choose materials that won't degrade in this environment, like hardwood or stainless steel. Avoid iron wine racks or other materials that might oxidize. For those who have a smaller collection, or no cellar, smaller hanging wine racks are the best choice. Just be sure that you mount them so that their weight is supported by the strong studs inside the wall. Otherwise, you risk a sudden, catastrophic failure, and wine all over the floor. Remember – wine weighs a great deal, so you'll need to make sure that the rack has enough support to compensate. Wall mounted wine racks come in just about every style and material. From sleek metal wine racks to warm, classic wooden ones, modernist styles to antique looking wrought iron, there's a wall rack to suit anyone. Remember to choose a style that goes with your room and your home's architecture, or you'll risk having the rack look out of place. If you do it right, you can incorporate a wall wine rack right into the room's existing décor, and no one will notice, except to compliment your beautiful wine rack! If you've been looking for a way to store your wine, but have thought conventional wine racks and cabinets were just too bulky, think about getting a wall wine rack instead. It will do the job, and save space.
